Before Pictures We needed something to separate the Gravel Storage Area from our Backyard. We looked / discussed various options from plants to short fences, etc. Construction 4"x4" P.T. Posts Were Set into Concrete Filled Holes (18" deep) Pressure Treated Lumber was used for the Fencing - Simpson Brackets were also Used. We originally were going to alternate fence slats from one side to the other - Didn't like it! 2" x 12" P.T. Lumber was Used for the Arches - Cut out With Jig Saw. After the Arches were Cut, the Edges were Sanded. 1/4" Heavy Duty P.T. Trellis Panels were Used. There is a Braced Splice @ Top Center - "U" Lumber was Used for Holding Trellis Panels. The Finished Arbor / Fence This Project was approximately 1 Weekend of Labor As Viewed from Gravel Area. Various Finished Pictures of the finished Arbor & Fence - Note Green Post Caps Cassie & Jason provide some perspective on the Arbor size. Here is a shot of the arbor with the "Lavender Lady Passion Vine" growing on it This Theme is being carried out with other projects in the yard such as the decks and future Trellises.
